About Jennifer Angelo

Jennifer AngeloJennifer is a humorist who writes about mishaps in her life and with her family. Her stories have been published in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and elsewhere.

Jennifer holds a B.S. and M.A. in occupational therapy as well as a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. She practiced and taught occupational therapy for 25 years at three different universities. She has over 20 technical, peer-reviewed publications to her name, as well as a non-fiction book for rehabilitation therapists, Assistive Technology for the Rehabilitation Therapists.

When her daughter developed diabetes at age five, Jennifer made the tough decision to resign from teaching so that she could more closely monitor her daughter’s health. Currently, she is working on a memoir about her family’s experiences when her daughter began using an insulin pump.

Jennifer is a member of Pennwriters, an association of writers in Pennsylvania.
